How to Write a Research Paper
Writing research papers are important in just about every class. Depending on the level of the students you are teaching they should know the basics of a reseach paper. This site is a good one for refreshing or teaching about research papers, and gives good examples of notecards, an outline, citing and bibliographies. Really easy to use.
Communicating with Parents
When it comes to communicating with parents teachers always need good ideas. Here are some articles giving good advice and ideas when it comes to communicating with students parents.
Classroom Management Ideas This is a list of rewards and punishment ideas. Sometimes the procedure that a teacher is using might work for a particular group of children but not for another. It’s important that a teacher has many tricks and ideas to help keep the classroom in order.
Math
Need help with Math? This is the website for you! Math.com offers easy to understand, step-by-step homework help, worksheets, games, tutoring alternatives, and quizzes to assist confused mathematicians.
Historical Articles This website has many articles, links, and e-books for research or history projects. Most of the articles have extensive bibliographies for further research. Though the books are not online, the titles and authors are so that they can be used for information if you can find them in a library. There are articles and books on many countries, history of math and science, and some wars. This is not an extensive website, but it does have some interesting resources if you are looking for something different.
Kids Gardening This link is about incorporating gardening and school! This helps teach kids science and teaches how to take care of the environment by planting and cultivating a garden. This website includes projects, teacher corners as well as parents. This is helpful because it partners teacher and parents in teaching children about nature.
